Prepare for the new Ofsted framework with the new emphasis on aligning CPD and school improvement (Cross Phase)
This workshop will explore detailed and practical examples of effective practice and delegates’ knowledge and experience of aligning staff and pupil learning and curriculum development, effectively and efficiently. Group activity will identify key features of effective learning environments for both staff and pupils, comparison of the two through building a shared picture based on experience and illustrations of what international research evidence highlights as key characteristics of effective staff and pupil learning environments.
Drawing on evidence from England and around the world (2007-2010), the workshop will explore how highly effective and innovative schools link curriculum development and CPD to create efficient and effective learning environments and what that means to delegates.
