Aim:
1) To see if computer-mediated communication between boys at two different schools can enhance the reading ability and interest of Year 9 boys with low reading levels.
2) To make use of the opportunities for anonymity which email offers in order to allow teachers to assume multiple roles in the teaching of literature.
Aim: To compare the effectiveness of two approaches to teaching games in physical education: the skills approach and the Games for Understanding approach.
Aim: To assess whether students' performance in science could be improved by increasing their self-esteem and generating positive support and feedback from their follow students.
Aim: To explore how the findings from research into the use of mentoring to support year 11 C/D borderline students prior to their GCSE examinations have led to more advanced models of mentoring being introduced to the college.
