Aim: To assess whether students' performance in science could be improved by increasing their self-esteem and generating positive support and feedback from their follow students.
Mentoring GCSE students
Aim: To explore how the findings from research into the use of mentoring to support year 11 C/D borderline students prior to their GCSE examinations have led to more advanced models of mentoring being introduced to the college.
How can Teachers Motivate Less Motivated Boys?
Aim: To investigate factors that affect the motivation of less able boys in Science and, from this, to see how teachers may improve that motivation.
How can Primary Schools Encourage Boys to Develop a More Positive Attitude towards Learning?
Aim: To identify strategies that will improve boys attitudes to learning in primary schools.
