CUREE has had the amazing opportunity to work with other providers and evaluate their programmes. Providers include:
· Ursuline High School (UHS) is a voluntary-aided Roman Catholic school for girls aged 11-18. The school provides a comprehensive CPD programme for its own staff. Their curriculum equips girls with skills for the modern world and develops them as critical and independent learners, and also confident communicators.
o CUREE were delighted to carry out a full QR Provider Review for UHS.
· Amazing Brains are committed to enabling young people to succeed. They offer high impact, interactive workshops and innovative resources in order to help students learn how their brain works, how they can develop a success mindset and how to use evidence-based study strategies to revise effectively and ultimately succeed in exams.
o We had the great opportunity to analyse and assess the company’s CPD course ‘Rethinking Intelligence: The Role of Mindset in Motivation and Achievement’.
· GDST-Girl’s Day school Trust (GDST) vision is to shape the future of girls’ education and assist their potential and dreams. GDST is giving girls the chance to be everything they can be by not only providing first class education but also an unparalleled preparation for life to come. Moreover, GDST has 23 independent schools and two academies across the UK.
o CUREE were excited to have the opportunity to work with GDST in order to evaluate their CPD programme. We looked into the GDST’s central training and professional development programme which comprised of around 140 unique courses.
· Tollgate Teaching School Alliance offers high quality support for leaders and teachers at all stages of their career. They are an alliance of over 30 schools, including specialist provision for children with behaviour support, autism and the teaching of the deaf. Tollgate TSA collaborates with other institutions and local authorities to ensure their vision improved outcomes for young people and children.
o We were thrilled to work with Tollgate Teaching School Alliance in order to do a Quality Rating of the alliance’s NQT induction and training programme, which is part of the alliance’s ITT.
· Worth-it projects specialise in early intervention and prevention of mental health problems. They achieve that by developing mental health in schools through targeted support for students and workforce development. They are the first organisation using positive psychology coaching to improve the wellbeing and the emotional health of young people within educational settings.
o CUREE had the amazing opportunity to work with Worth-it Projects and do a Quality Rating of the provider’s raising awareness and protecting mental wellbeing and wellbeing toolkit training sessions.
· Britannia Teaching School Alliance (BTSA) is a cohort 2 teaching school. BTSA are committed to improving educational outcomes for children and young people. Their mission is to develop the best trained and supported workforce possible. They aim to provide an excellent all round education to the children in their care.
o We were excited to have been working with Britannia Teaching School Alliance in order to carry out an analysis and assessment of the BTSA’s Effective Classroom Support programme, which is a training programme for Teaching Assistants (TAs).
· Wednesbury Teaching School Alliance (WTSA) is a growing alliance of schools that are committed to improving the outcomes of all pupils. They have 20 schools within their alliance which collaborate effectively and serve a diverse range of communities.
o We were thrilled to have been working with Wednesbury Teaching School Alliance in order to Quality Rate its CPD offer and inform the development of the offer as to further increase its impact.
