CUREE is pleased to work with Stockton local authority to deliver a series of mentoring and coaching programmes to a group of teachers and headteachers from local schools. Lisa Bradbury will be the programme deliverer and kick start the programme with a full development day on 24th February. The session, which will be highly interactive and full of engaging activities, will help to develop an understanding of the rationale and research evidence for coaching, explore the similarities, distinctions between coaching and mentoring and develop the skills and understanding needed to use coaching and mentoring as a key school improvement tool. All schools will also go away with packs of effective mentoring and coaching resources to help them embed and extend coaching in their school.
