In June 2008 CUREE’s chief executive Philippa Cordingley and managing director Paul Crisp visited a school in Hong Kong in a visit coordinated by the British Council.
During the visit, a mini-conference was held so that ideas on various educational topics could be exchanged. Topics included developing high-efficiency staff development periods, applying research-based learning to Liberal Studies’ topics, how research-based learning promoted students’ learning in neuroscience and what a school-based biotechnology curriculum was. At the start of the conference, three student representatives shared their learning experience in the school.
