NQT Mentor Development Session in Kent on 8 Oct

We are pleased to welcome Catherine Dobson as an associate CUREE facilitator for coaching and mentoring following her extensive work with CUREE in this area. Developing an area which she sees as key in her role at Judd School she is working closely with CUREE to prepare a development session for NQT and GPT mentors in local schools in Kent. The session, delivered by Catherine and one CUREE facilitator on 8th October will be interactive and engaging allowing participants to reinvigorate and practice their mentoring skills in a supported environment.   The session will

  • develop mentors’ abilities so that they can give top quality support over many years to teachers in critical stages of their development
  • provide mentors with the resources to create in-school training which fits the school context, is sustainable, cost-effective and timely
  • help mentors support NQTs, GTPs and others going through major role changes to reach their potential more quickly

This session is open to any mentors who have responsibility for supporting NQTs and GTPs. If you’re interested, please email serena.dong@curee.co.uk
