City of Portsmouth Girls School has invited CUREE to run a development session to equip school support staff with mentoring skills to support their students. Designed and led by Lisa Bradbury, the session will be engaging and full of activities. The day will start with developing understanding of the connection between professional learning and pupil learning and delve into exploration of mentoring skills via using some useful tools and resources from the ‘Effective Mentoring and Coaching’ materials. Participants will have opportunities to work with each other, discuss issues and carry out collaborative coaching to identify their next steps.
