The coaching training commissioned by Barnsley Local Authority has brought CUREE into contact with Kirk Balk School, who invited CUREE to deliver a development session on mentoring and coaching for the whole school staff to support the Future Learning Framework at school level. Led by Lisa Bradbury and Clare Buntic, the session will allow participants to explore the key principles of mentoring and coaching, develop their understanding of the benefits of coaching and professional learning and explore the use of some effective tools to facilitate coaching. Participants will also have opportunities to practise coaching and identify their next priorities in relation to coaching and how coaching can help with the Future Learning Framework at school.
