Philippa Cordingley is attending the Ontario Education Research Symposium in Toronto, Canada on 17 -19 February at the invitation of the event organiser. A mixture of more than 400 university education faculty, school board & researchers, principals, teachers and Ministry of Education staff will participate to share the discuss the latest education research work. With this year’s theme “Bringing Research Into the Classroom”, Philippa will kick off the morning on 18th February by delivery a keynote on “How Can Research Improve Classroom Practice”, which will explore connections between research and classroom teaching and help delegates to understand the roles of Continuing Professional Development and knowledge management/mobilisation. In addition, she will also take this opportunity to network, make connections for future research and share approaches with others pursuing similar work.
